The Crowd was present at this year’s Pismo Beach Classic Car Show. The Crowd was fundraising/BBQing. We would like thank all the volunteers that helped at the car show. The Ink Dolls did their annual Prom Project fundraiser and The Crowd was proud to donate towards this great cause. The Ink Doll’s Prom Project fundraiser helps provide financial assistance to young student girls in dresses,shoes, hair/make up, tickets & photos.
The Crowd’s 2nd Annual Valentines Dance was a success. We doubled the amount of attends this time. We want to thank all the people and local car clubs that attended this year. We also want to thank the companies that donated to the raffles, Cal Coast Painting Inc, A&A appraising, Trendz, Napa & Carquest. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
This is The Crowd’s 2nd Annual Valentine’s Dance @ the Yo-Yo Club in Orcutt 725 E Foster Rd, Santa Maria, CA 93455 (2/12/16). We will have live music from Shaky Groundz. Also we will have DJ Johnny Blaze in the mix. The purchase of a ticket provides FREE FOOD from our taco bar and enters you into a raffle to win prizes. We will also have 50/50 drawings through out the night. The ticket prices are $20.00 for singles & $35.00 for couples. Elijah Olivas, a 6th grade student at Tunnell Elementary School, was riding in the back seat of a 1995 Toyota Avalon when one of the other passengers attacked the driver.
“There was an altercation in the vehicle and Elijah was ejected from the vehicle and sustained a severed hand and massive injuries all over his body,” said Bendele.
The Olivas family held a fundraiser at the Santa Maria Eagles Hall. The Crowd was present at this event. The Crowd donated money to help the Olivas family pay for the medical expenses.
The Crowd anticipated in this year’s Turkey Drive in Santa Maria for Thanksgiving. The Crowd donated 10 Turkeys to the local food bank. The Crowd was featured in the KCOY 12 morning news show, the group was briefly interviewed by news anchor Claire Anderson.
